During such times, careers in science and technology are a great choice for any student who has been enthralled by science and math courses at the high school level. In particular spotlight for 2012 and 2013 has been the biomedical engineering field, which has been ranked number 1 in a recent list of most valuable majors by Forbes.

As to what Biomedical Engineering is all about, it’s the application of biology, engineering and biomechanical principles to health systems and products.
