Enrolling In Army ROTC

  • Three years
  • Four years

Service Obligations after Army ROTC

The Army service obligation for paying back scholarships and benefits is four years. For enrollment in the ROTC Advanced Course, the commitment is three years. Those that are awarded scholarship have to complete 48 months of service in the Army. ROTC Cadets that sign up for ROTC Advanced Course are required to serve for 36 months. Both receive commissions in the U.S. Army as Second Lieutenants.
